[METHOD & RECONSTRUCTION]
PHOTOGRAPHY AND AI
THE CAMPAIGN PHOTOGRAPHS WERE FIRST CAPTURED IN A REAL, INTIMATE SETTING TO PRESERVE AUTHENTICITY AND EMOTIONAL HONESTY. THE BED WAS CHOSEN AS A SYMBOLIC SPACE, REPRESENTING VULNERABILITY AND THE PRIVATE MOMENT WHERE MANY FIRST NOTICE THEIR HAIR LOSS.
THE HAIR WAS THEN DIGITALLY ADDED USING AI, CREATING A DELIBERATE CONTRAST BETWEEN PRESENCE AND ABSENCE. THIS PROCESS ALLOWED THE VISUALS TO MOVE BETWEEN REALITY AND RECONSTRUCTION, REINFORCING THE IDEA THAT IDENTITY CAN BE REIMAGINED AND RECLAIMED.
